Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state has congratulated Laycon for winning season 5 of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.
Laycon, an indigene of Ogun state and a first class product of the University of Lagos, polled 60% of the votes to emerge winner of the show which came to an end last Sunday, September 27.
In a statement signed and released by himself, the governor applauded Laycon for winning the show. Describing him as a pacesetter, the governor said Laycon has emerged one of the best in academic and social engagements
The statement reads

The pacesetter that you are, you have emerged one of the best in academic and social engagements, so this victory is aptly a confirmation of your brilliance, intellect and maturity.
Our Administration will continue to support and empower the youth via numerous channels, towards inclusion, job creation, and the utility of our natural youthful energy.
