The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has generated N350 million from the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of its April 5 governorship primary election in Anambra State.
At least seven aspirants purchased the N50 million forms before the deadline on Tuesday, February 25. The aspirants are:
- Prof. Obiora Okonkwo
- Nicholas Ukachukwu
- Chukuma Umeoji
- Paul Chukwuma
- Onunkwo Obinna
- Valentine Ozigbo
- Edozie Madu
However, only four aspirants have submitted their completed forms so far.
According to the APC’s National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, the screening of aspirants will take place from March 7 to 8, with results to be published on March 10. The delegate congress is set for April 2, while the primary election will hold on April 5.
