Akon already feels the holiday spirit … he just turned over the deed to his Atlanta home to his mom.
It’s a 5 bedroom pad about an hour outside of the ATL. Akon bought the home a decade ago for $293k but his digs are now much grander … a mansion in the Atlanta burbs.

The bond between Akon and his mom goes beyond blood. They both devote a lot of time to the Konfidence Foundation, which helps kids in West Africa. She’s the president/CEO.
There might be another reason for the transfer … Akon’s got a bunch of outstanding tax liens … so it’ll be a lot harder for Uncle Sam to go after the crib.
