Sergio Aguero won’t be forgotten at Manchester City any time soon. The Argentine will officially depart the club on June 30 and has already sealed his next move, having already been presented as a new signing at Barcelona.
Though he had already established himself as an all-time great at the club, Aguero made a gesture that only added to the esteem in which he is held in Manchester.
As a parting gift, and as revealed by the Athletic, Aguero bought a watch for everyone that works around the City first team, splashing out on a stylish Tag Heuer Formula 1 design. With each individual watch costing around 1,100 euros, Aguero gifted over 60 of them.
On the back, each of the watches was engraved with a note of thanks, reading: “Gracias! Kun Aguero”.
As well as that, he decided to raffle off his Range Rover, which is valued at over 50,000 euros. The forward gifted staff members a ticket that will allow one of them to win the car.
It has also been learned that Aguero contributed more than most players to a cash pot that the squad hand over to support staff.
