A seventh person from the Highland Park Fourth of July massacre has died

It has been a rough past 24 hours for all the people who suffered the Highland Park shooting during a Fourth of July parade on Monday. Suspect Robert E. Crimo III was already aprehended but he left a trail of blood behind him. His motives are still unknown but he had killed six people with his attack already, make that seven as the latest victim wasjust announced.

The gunman injured or killed a total of 45 people during his attack, where he fired up to 70 rounds with an AR-15 style assault rifle during the parade. Crimo was positioned on top of a buildong rooftop and fired as a professional sniper would. Initially, six adults died and a seventh just perished, the police announced.

Identities of six victims of the Highland Park shooting are revealed.

This Tuesday, the Lake County Coroner’s Office decided to reveal the identity of six victims who died. They already had their names and ages but they wouldn’t disclose the information until their families were notified. Once that process was over, they finally told the rest of the world who these victims are.

Katherine Goldstein, 64, of Highland Park. Irina McCarthy, 35, of Highland Park. Kevin McCarthy, 37, of Highland Park. Jacquelyn Sundheim, 63, of Highland Park. They also confirmed Nicolas Toledo is the Mexican national who died in the shooting, he was from Morelos andhe was 78 years old. According to the Coroner’s Office, the seventh victim perished at a hospital outside Lake County.

Local Police is still investigating the motive of this massacre but suspect Robert Crimo III is a known Donald Trump supporter with extrema and radicalized ideas the former president has been preaching for many years. Investigators who have the suspect in custody have been investigating his psychological profile but they have not yet determined if this was motivated by race, religion, political odelology or something else entirely.

All the authorities have shared so far is that this attack was planned for weeks and the shooter used women’s clothing to blend in the crowd and escape without getting noticed. given the information we now have, there will be a period of interrogation and further investigation that needs to happen behind closed doors.
