The Presidency has reacted to the attack on Mubi town which left 27 people dead.
DAILY POST recalls that many were feared dead as bomb exploded in a Mosque at Mubi town, Adamawa.
The state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh, had confirmed that the 56 injuried persons were on admission in a hospital.
Sajoh said the blast occurred in Kasuwan Gwanjo (second hand clothes market) and a mosque within the market.
Buhari in a statement on his official Twitter page described the attack as a tragedy.
He, however, offered condolences to victims of the incident.
“Today’s suicide bomb attacks in Mubi,Adamawa State, targeting a Mosque and Market, are tragic & despicable.
“Our sympathies go to the victims, their families, the Govt & people of Adamawa.
“Our special gratitude to all the rescue workers & medical personnel who attended to victims,” he wrote.
