New year, new look for Amber Rose. The curvaceous model-turned-entrepreneur has decided to undergo breast reduction surgery.
On Tuesday (Jan. 16), Rose took to social media to announce the news. “My Breast Reduction surgery is tmrw,” she wrote. “I’m really scared and really excited at the same time.”
Rose has been contemplating the move for months. In July, she wrote: “thinking about getting a breast reduction this year… my boobs are stupid heavy, my back hurts and I can’t wear cute lil shirts without a grandma bra.” At the time, she said she was worried about scars from the surgery.
“I’m really scared of the lollipop scars tho,” she added. “any advice? Are there any ladies out there that are much happier even though you have breast reduction scars? And no I don’t have implants so they can’t just cut around the nipples.”

In a video with one of the doctors who will be handling her surgery, a smiling Rose seemed more at ease with the procedure. “I’m really excited about spaghetti straps,” she said. In another Instagram story, she said both of her docs were “gonna take care” of her. The procedure is scheduled to take place today.
