IMG Models said today that it has signed Ciara to an exclusive modeling contract, although it appears that she’s just moving over from William Morris Endeavor, which represented the singer and model for all her entertainment endeavors. WME will continue to represent her for music.
IMG Models, which is part of WME/IMG, will now manage all beauty, fashion, and modeling deals. The 30-year-old model is a Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, actress and entertainer and is engaged to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.
Ciara will be joining an IMG Models roster that includes Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham, Carolyn Murphy, Lara Stone, Hannah Davis, Hilary Rhoda and Hailey Baldwin.
Over the past year, Ciara has been featured on the covers of such magazines as L’Uomo Vogue, L’Officiel, Shape and Essence and has fronted the fall 2015 ad campaign for Roberto Cavalli. She has also served as an ambassador for Topshop and Coach. Ciara made waves last week when she appeared in a custom slinky metallic H&M Conscious gown and matching silver hair at the Met Ball.
In addition to her fashion cred, Ciara has sold more than 23 million recordings and has starred in numerous film and TV series. Last week she released her sixth studio album “Jackie” (Epic Records/Sony Music Entertainment). The Austin, Tex., born model is the mother of a two-year old son whom she had with Future.
