Former Deputy Senate President in the second republic, John Wash Pam has passed on. He died on Thursday at the National Hospital, Abuja around 1.25pm as a result of complications from prostrate cancer. He was 73.
His death was confirmed by his Special Assistant, Mr. Williams Chieshe (Jnr). “Baba has died; he has been battling with prostrate cancer for a while now.” He said the late Wash Pam was Deputy Senate President from 1979 to 1983. He’s survived by two wives and 18 children.
