Although Halloween has passed, there were definitely some costumes that were more memorable than others. One being, rapper The Game’s costume as he decided to don a fly bespoke suit and dye his hair red to emulate “Classic Man” hitmaker Jidenna.
For a day, the two traded places as Jidenna dressed up as the Grinch(another good one) and Game as Jidenna. However, must never know what to expect from Game as he is a bit of wildcard, so many didn’t know if Jidenna should be offended or flattered by Game’s antics. Imitation is the best flattery huh? Peep Jidenna’s response.
The Game looked clean as hell,” he said via a segment of today’s (November 9) DX Daily. “I saw the IG and I was like, I actually thought it was myself. I was dressed as the Grinch so that’s definitely not me. First of all, I respect The Game. He’s trail-blazed for artists like myself. I appreciate him having living in L.A. myself and knowing what he stands for and what he stood for. I really like all his new work by the way. It was cool. I actually shouted him out today on the show.”
Jidenna also explained how being a gangster and a gentlemen go hand-in-hand in his world.
“It was good to see a gangsta dressed as a gentlemen because in the history, the last 100 years, those two words, gangster and gentleman, were interchangeable,” he explained.
