Timberwolves 116, Lakers 104
Minnesota seized a 2-1 series lead over the Los Angeles Lakers in their first-round playoff clash, thanks to a combined 59 points from Anthony Edwards (29) and Jaden McDaniels (30).
Despite a heroic effort from LeBron James who posted 38 points and 10 rebounds the Lakers couldn’t hold off a surging Timberwolves side. James dominated on both ends, sinking long-range threes and swatting shots, but Minnesota’s balanced attack proved too much.
