Popular reality star Tacha has reacted tearfully to the ordeal and suspension of Nigerian senator Natasha Akpoti, expressing frustration over the treatment of women in politics.
It would be recalled that Senator Akpoti was recently suspended for six months after a clash with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The lawmaker had accused Akpabio of victimizing her for rejecting his alleged advances. However, as the claims remain unsubstantiated, the Senate moved to suspend her, sparking widespread reactions.
