Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to completing the signing of Italian-Nigerian Destiny Udogie, Gidipoint.com understands.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Udinese from Hellas Verona before making the move permanent this summer.
Despite joining Udinese for £3.6m only a few weeks ago, a recent report indicated that Tottenham had agreed a deal with the Serie A club for Udogie.
Tottenham were planning to complete Destiny Udogie deal next week but it looks impossible. New talks have been scheduled with Udinese in order to finalize the agreement.
Udogie was not in Udinese squad yesterday due to negotiations with Spurs.
Udogie played no part in his club’s 2-1 friendly win over FeralpiSalo on Saturday, although the defender is expected to return to Udinese on a loan deal once the transfer with Spurs is completed.
