The Eko Electricity Distribution Company has pulled down its tweet announcing the second collapse of the National power grid in twenty-four hours as media aides of the Buhari regime, Bashir Ahmed and Tolu Ogunlesi continue blatant trolling of Nigerians who are lamenting the incident.
Many Nigerians took to Twitter within the last forty-eight hours to express displeasure on the worsened state of power under the Buhari regime but were met with a stiff pushback from aides of the president who made light of the national shut down of power stations.
The announcement of a second total grid collapse was made yesterday by the Eko electricity distribution company.
“We would like to inform you of another system collapse on the National Grid which occurred at 5:10 PM today.
“We are monitoring the situation and will continue to provide updates. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience,” Eko Electricity tweeted on Tuesday.
The tweet, however, is no longer available on its profile hours after it gained massive engagement.
Several businesses have been forced to a halt as the cost of fuel skyrocketed amid the persistent blackout in the past few weeks.
The Buhari regime has failed to deliver on its promise to establish local refineries seven years into the administration.
Individuals are also howling the implication of the severe power outage on the health and standard of living of citizens.
