Ipswich Town forward Macauley Bonne showed his predatory instincts to set up a late equaliser over the weekend and, in the process, humiliated the opposing goalkeeper.
Having attempted a cross that ‘keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell caught with ease, Bonne’s teammates tracked back to get into their defensive shape preparing for one last Sheffield Wednesday attack in the 94th minute.
But Bonne had other ideas. Instead, he hung around behind Peacock-Farrell like a predator stalking his prey, even urging fans behind the goal at Portman Road to stay silent to not give his whereabouts away.
Once the Northern Ireland goalkeeper put the ball to the ground, Bonne pounced and intercepted. The stadium then erupted with excitement and the ball was worked into the box for Conor Chaplin to level.
