Closed Circuit Tv (CCTV) has revealed that an unidentified lady was accountable for the hearth that gutted Ebeano Grocery store, Lokogoma space of Abuja on Saturday, July 17, 2021.
The girl, wearing a black T-shirt and denims was captured within the CCTV footage setting on fireplace some items organized beneath cooking fuel cylinders on a shelve . After perpetrating the crime which occurred at round 7:00pm, the girl walked briskly away from the scene of the incident.
Her motion led to the fire that razed the multi-million naira shopping center all night time and into the early hours of the following day.
Ibrahim Muhammad, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Federal Capital Territory Hearth Service had mentioned that firefighters from a number of fireplace service stations in Asokoro, Garki, Games Village and the National Judicial Institute in Abuja combated the “huge” fireplace.
It’s but unknown if the Police have been in a position to establish the arsonist.
