Aguero quiet about his future: I prefer to enjoy this moment

After ten years with the club, Sergio Aguero bid farewell to Manchester City on Sunday with two goals off the bench in a 5-0 win over Everton.

Despite it being his last game, in domestic competition at least, the Argentine was in a positive mood as he reflected on his decade with City.

“It is my last game but I am very happy,” he told Sky Sports. “I have enjoyed it a lot and my colleagues have helped me to do so.

“My goal is always to score goals and I’m very happy, because in my last game scoring two goals is fantastic.”

“When I arrived here I didn’t know what was going to happen, that’s why the first title was the most important, and from there we started to win much more.

“It is not easy to be ten years in the same club. It is an honour.”

Aguero is strongly linked with a move to Barcelona, yet his focus after the game was to enjoy the celebrations.

“I prefer not to think [about the future] and enjoy this moment.”
