The Shooting Stars have won the 2023 ValueJet pre-season tournament after beating Beyond Limits 2-0 in a thrilling final in Ikenne on Thursday.

Gbenga Ogunbote’s led side dominated play against the Nigeria National League side.
Malomo Taofeek gave Shooting Stars the lead in the 16th minute, nodding home Joshua Akpan’s cross.
Gali Falke doubled the advantage four minutes later.
No goal was recorded in the second half despite spirited efforts from Beyond Limits.
Shooting Stars went home with a cash prize of N2 million for winning the tournament.
